It sucks that only those registered as either democrat or republican can participate in the presidential primaries. This forces anyone who is registered with a third party to temporarily switch just so she or he can have a say in the primaries.
The United States would probably be better off with a parliamentary system of government because then other political parties would have a voice (however limited) in the running of the country.
